It Happened One Night: "Walls of Jericho" Scene Remake

Had to remake a scene for my Directing the Film class a few semesters ago. I chose this scene because it is one of my favorites in one of my favorite films. So let me set this up for those who haven't seen the original scene in the 1934 Academy Award winning film "It Happened One Night" starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. *THIS SYNOPSIS IS BASED ON MY SCENE MODIFICATIONS, HOWEVER THE BASIC IDEA AND STORYLINE IS THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL FILM. Only details have been changed to make the story more modern. Ellie Andrews, a self reliant celebrity socialite, escapes her loving but controlling wealthy father so that she may elope with her boyfriend against her father's will. On her journey to elope she meets Peter Warne, a smart alec tabloid reporter who just so happens to be looking for the big scoop. Though the two seem to dislike each other they soon find themselves falling in love. IN THIS SCENE: Ellie and Peter have to stop at a hotel for the night. They have been traveling for a day or so. When Peter tells her that he has booked the hotel room under Mr. and Mrs. Ellie questions what his motives towards her are but finds out that he is only interested in her fame and her story. Get the movie, "It Happened One Night." it is simply BRILLIANT and worthy of the 5 Oscars it won in 1934.
