I hope you'll enjoy my rendition of this beautiful Coldplay song from 2002. There's something so poignant about the simplicity of the melody and those few sentences which say everything there is to say when your heart is broken. So today, just one day before the cupid-, flower- and pink hearts invasion, I would like to share my tribute to Classic Hollywood - losing, missing and loving. (I didn't even mean to record this song, I just sang it once while listening to the karaoke-file and recorded this in one take. To my surprise, I kind of liked the recording, so I added a bit of "chorus" and harmonizing afterwards. Apart from the added reverb, the recording stands unedited. I know that it is far from perfect, but I didn't want to risk losing the feeling of the song by redoing passages.)
