"Carol's Journey / El Viaje de Carol" (Spain), winner of a Berlin International Film Festival's Crystal Bear Award, will open the San Joaquin Film Club year-round cinema program of the San Joaquin Film Society (SJFS), at a special, Holiday screening on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008, at 7:00PM, at the historic Stockton Empire Theatre. This event will include a special preview of the SJFS's upcoming San Joaquin Children's Film Festival, which will inaugurate in the city of Stockton from January 16 to 18, 2009, and will showcase a diverse collection of over 25 films from around the world "for kids of all ages."
