"Menace" - INsight Crew - Prelude Midwest

April 17, 2010 Prelude Midwest Urban Dance Competition Guest Judges: Brian Puspos, Jun Quemado, Beverly Bautista, Dionna PridGeon, and Emerson Aquino. Our first official dance competition. It was a big step. We got the call late; I'd say a little less than 3 weeks before the competition. There was a big decision whether to use our old set "Movement" or take a risk and create a brand new set within the remaining time that we had. We went for the new set, "Menace". Practices were stressful and frustrating, considering we had school, sports, and other plans interfering. We also had to do choreography quickly, as well as teach it quickly. We manage to get all of it done in time thankfully. We all worked hard and are happy to have an opportunity to compete with some of the best dance crews in the Midwest.
