On June 26, 2007 Anita Marshall, Mary's mother examined various pieces of jewelry that were found in a room at a residence on 15 1/2 Mile Road in Marshall, Michigan. Norrene Parker shared the residence with her former boy-friend, Chris Pratt. Norrene and her children were not permitted in this room and it was known as Chris' "Game Room." There were some mounted animals on the walls, but most were obtained at flea markets and not actually hunted by Mr. Pratt. In one of the drawers were large numers of keys and pieces of jewelery. One key was identified as a key to the home of Mary's brother, Mike. He had not lived at this home for several years. Believing that much of the jewelery was Mary's, Norrene Parker permitted it to be examined by the family. All the pieces were, in fact, articles owned and usually worn by Mary. Included was her engagement ring. Chris Pratt, Inmate, Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility in Ionia, Michigan. Chris Pratt was just moved from Level II at Mound Correctional Facility in Detroit to Cooper Street Correctional Facility in Jackson.
