Smokey Neutral Look Using Hard Candy

It's always fun to do a neutral toned smokey eye with a berry or pink lip for daytime. Remember that "smokey" is a technique, not a color, so you can do a smokey eye with pretty much any shade. For daytime looks, I like to keep my eyes somewhat neutral since sometimes it can feel a little weird walking into the grocery store with neon yellow and bright magenta eyes thickly lined with black winged liner, lol. Sort of like going to the gym wearing an evening gown! This look has been my go-to daily look for the last week or two. I change it up a little by adding some deep chocolate or matte black on the outer corners for a slightly bolder look. There are a lot of different ways to tone this look down or liven it up so feel free to modify it to your own personality! These Hard Candy products are some of my new favorites! The quality of Hard Candy products is very similar to Urban Decay, in my opinon - but at a fraction of the cost. In general, I HATE drugstore/box store cosmetics because I find they NEVER do what they claim to do HOWEVER, I was sent some Hard Candy samples from their PR department and I am LOVING them. The company has been around a while, they are so affordable without being boring or weak and they're also cruelty-free (hooray!). Now if I'm at my local Walmart and realize, "Oh man, I forgot I needed concealer" I don't HAVE to rush out to Sephora, Macy's or Ulta but I'm happy to go grab some Hard Candy and don't feel like I'm throwing my money away on cheap ...
