A new series As Australian As, produced by Bearcage goes to air on May 3 on FOXTELs Bio Channel. In the ten part series prominent Australians look into their lives to determine what being Australian means to them. Through their stories, combined with archival photos and footage, re-enactments and interviews, their personal journeys take the idea of being Australian much further than meat pies, zinc cream and shrimps on the Barbie. The subjects of the half hour episodes are: Cathy Freeman, John Wood, Alex Perry, Caroline OConnor Anne Summers, George Negus, Fiona Stanley, Bojana Novakovic, Jon Stevens and Peter Fitzsimons.
