Possibly the greatest scene of any Bob Hoskins movie, or any movie at all for that matter. Note how in one scene he begins to list toward the rock face, mostly upright. Immediately in the next scene he appears upside-down! That is the nature of the Bob Hoskins Flip. Marvel at his mournful, yet thoughtful wail as he gracefully descends through the interdimensional vortex! Exclaim gleefully as he deftly alights on the solid ground of the majestic Mushroom Kingdom for the first time.. Truly, a spectacle of spectacles. This is everything I loved about the mario games and so much more... and also john leguizamo.
