1989 Bandimere Pro Stock Final

This is the Pro Stock final at the 1989 Bandimere speedway in Denver. Bob Glidden versus Jerry Eckman obviously prior to Eckman's nitrous back-fire and subsequent lifetime ban from NHRA Drag Racing. There were lots of rumors about Glidden due to his dominance during this period. I am not aware of any violations made by Bob and it is hard to argue with his success. I heard but never got the full story that Bob and Etta broke up years later.
