Gilligan's Island cast reunite for LA Children's Hospital
In 1985, most of the sitcom castaways reunited for the dedication of the Gilligan's Island waiting room at Los Angeles' Children's Hospital. Bob Denver (Gilligan), Alan Hale, Jr. (Skipper), Natalie Schafer (Mrs. Howell), Tina Louise (Ginger), Russell Johnson (Professor), and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) joined Gilligan creator Sherwood Schwartz for the dedication. These clips are from a KNBC report, CNN, and an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Jim Backus didn't attend the dedication (he was quite frail) but did appear in a seperate segment on the same episode of Lifestyles.
