After the birth of a severely disabled son, both gave up acting and moved to Southern West Virginia to care for him full-time in the peace and quiet of the mountains. Except that "Gilligan" hunters came looking to find where the "Gilligan's Island" and "Dobie Gillis" star lived high in the hills. Denver's death in 2005 from cancer devastated Dreama, but to honor his legacy and memory she has expanded and grown the Denver Foundation and Little Buddy Radio, whose music and talk programs are now streamed live on the Internet 24/7 at bobdenver.com. Meanwhile, the Denver Foundation continues to expand the aid it gives disabled children and their families.
