The MrMen cartoons were aired from 1975 to 1978. They were narrated by Arthur Lowe. These are based on the books. These are the 2 series. And Little Miss cartoons were aired in 1983. The series aired the same year in America and ended production in 1997. It was all the Little Miss stories, they were narrated by John Alderton and Pauline Collins (Arnold Stang in America). In the first part of this video is Mr Tickle: Mr. Tickle's story begins with him in bed and making himself breakfast without getting up because of his "extraordinarily long arms". He then decides that it is a tickling sort of day and so goes around town tickling people - a teacher, a policeman, a greengrocer, a station guard, a doctor, a butcher and a postman. The book ends with a warning that Mr. Tickle could be lurking around anywhere even your doorway, waiting to tickle you. In the second part of this video is Mr Funny: Mr Funny lived inside a large teapot. So he decided to go out for a funny drive. While he was driving along the road, a Large Pig laughed to see his car and a worm laughed as well. Eventually Mr Funny came to some sign posts. One of them says "This way to the Zoo." Unfortunately all the animals at the zoo have colds. He ends up cheering up the zoo animals with his jokes and humour before driving home again. No one has a sense of humour like Mr. Funny.
