The Lady Vanishes (1979) Title & End Credits
Hammer's final movie, finished by Rank, is a terrible disappointment on almost all levels, especially in view with other similar themed remakes around that time, like Rank's own exciting "The Thirty-Nine Steps" (who was a failure at the box office as well, though). The only good thing about this lacklustre movie is fine supporting by Herbert Lom, Ian Carmichael and Arthur Lowe, the beauty of Cybil Shepherd, and a marvellous score by Richard Hartley and Les Reed. Angela Lansbury is playing Angela Lansbury, I guess, for I see little variety in most of her acting since the Seventies, but well, it's fine for this. Elliott Gould is abysmal. Well, tune in your ears for the score, for that's why I uploaded this. ;)
