She says shes interested in fashion design and vintage clothing, and she discovers plenty of great finds at thrift stores like Goodwill. Amy tells us that her friends used to laugh at her for shopping at thrift stores, but most of them now think its cool when they see the great clothes shes bought. Amy also likes thrifting because its green, and often repurposes her purchases, like making beach bags out of old tee-shirts. Quote: Some kids want to go to the movies on the weekends.
