Comedian Paul Merton takes us on a journey through the early films of master director Alfred Hitchcock, including the rare silent ones from the 1920s. He conducts "interviews" with the man himself, and gives his own take on Hitchcock's technical experimentation. Such techniques would lead on to his famous American period, with films such as Rear Window, Psycho and Vertigo.
