MHC Women Attend Launch of Women in Public Service Project in DC

Twenty-five Mount Holyoke College students traveled to Washington, DC to attend the launch of the State Department's Women in Public Service Project thanks to a grant from the Weissman Center for Leadership and the Liberal Arts. The all-star cast included Secretary Hillary Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Managing Director of IMF Christine Lagarde, Ambassador Melanne Verveer, and President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga. Students say the experience has inspired them to consider careers in public service.
