Horsehair
A surreal black comedy about a man who spends too much time in his favourite armchair, Horsehair was made in 1998 through Scottish Screen's Prime Cuts scheme and was the first live action short I directed. It had an ok run on the festival circuit: Edinburgh, London and Odense among others, was included on VHS rental copies of The Blair Witch Project in the UK and even sneaked the F word onto pre-watershed STV when broadcast at 3 in the afternoon.
