I'm Bridget Daly for ClevverMusic. The Voice aired its second episode last night, and fans are already obsessing over the new vocal competition show. Now of course there are going to be comparisons to American Idol, but it wasn't until last night that any of the show's judges actually addressed that elephant in the room. Maroon 5's Adam Levine spoke up to sort of slam Idol, saying quote, "The people that we're not turning our chairs around for could win 'American Idol. 'The Voice' is after something more -- that extra thing, that unbelievable, extra spectacular, mindblowing thing." Ouch! And that wasn't the only controversial thing Levine said on last night's show. He also told one male hopeful that he thought he was a girl before turning his chair around. He said, "I thought you were gonna be a girl, and clearly you are not a woman." But even though Adam needed a female on his team, he agreed to take on the contestant anyway! That's showbiz for ya! So are you guys watching the Voice?
